| Welcome to the internet home of BLACK MASK ROTTWEILERS. We are located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, in the state of Washington. We live in the middle of farm country and our home and kennels are located on 10 acres, just minutes from the Canadian border. We are approximately 1 hour 45 minutes north of Seattle, Washington and 40 minutes south of Vancouver, B.C., Canada. Here at BLACK MASK ROTTWEILERS we pride ourselves on our goal to exhibit and produce quality rottweilers that resemble the breed standard in every aspect. Our dogs are sound of mind, structure, and working ability. They excel in the conformation show ring as well as working in the field, but most importantly, they are exceptional family companions and guardians. We are a small hobby, 'Code of Ethics' kennel and all of our dogs must be of breed standard, with no disqualifying faults. All our breeding dogs must pass their health certifications for hips, heart and eyes (OFA), and they must also be screened for elbow dysplasia. They must prove their worthiness to be bred by attaining their conformation champion title with the AKC and/or CKC and we always encourage any potential puppy buyer to also explore the world of working titles with the AKC, CKC, ARV, ARC, USRC, the DVG, and the like. As a show kennel, we actively participate in AKC, CKC and UKC conformation shows, breed specialties, and European style Sieger shows. We are also like to do a little herding with our dogs. We believe that it is of utmost importance to have consistent and positive interaction with our dogs. Rottweilers thrive on human companionship and devotion. Without this, they can become unstable. Remember, 90% of all behavior problems are a direct result of poor ownership or improper socialization, not the dog, or breed, itself. You only have youself to blame for an unstable dog. Not only are our dogs an essential part of our family, but they are exceptional representatives for their breed. We are very selective on what, when and why we breed; therefore, we only have 1-2 litters per year, if any at all. We do, however, occasionally list litter announcements and available dogs from other breeders on our FOR SALE page and we occasionally take in rescue dogs that would be listed on our RESCUE page. All dogs purchased from BLACK MASK ROTTWEILERS are sold on a written PUPPY CONTRACT with hip and health guarantees. All of our puppies are well socialized and benefit from Early Neurological Stimulation. We also temperament test each puppy with a Puppy Aptitude Test at 6-8 weeks of age, to determine which puppy would be best suited to each prospective buyer. This is to ensure that each puppy produced by BLACK MASK ROTTWEILERS has a positive and bright future in their new homes. All of our rottweilers are raised on a Natural/Holistic diet that includes a modified B.A.R.F. diet, for optimum health. We believe that sound, stable dogs start with nutrition. The temperaments and health of all our animals is our first priority. QUALITY, NOT QUANTITY. |
